The new Siemens U-S30-W-C strobes combine state of the art electronics to provide reliability and low current drain to meet visual life safety applications. Same low current draw for either wall or ceiling mount installations.
In general, the Siemens U-S30-W-C strobes are constructed of light durable plastic and are available in two colors: red or white. To order a device in white use a -W at the end of the model number (i.e., U-S75S-W). The units’ design provides for easy installation with the single gang, double gang, or 4 square mountings. The lens construction provides high candela output with a very low current consumption while meeting UL and ADA standards.
The Retro Plate units come with the same strobe choices with one major physical difference, construction. The retro strobe plate is constructed of metal for mounting bell or chime devices to the plate. Overall dimensions are 6 wide by 9 high.
The remote strobes and strobe remote plates use a Xenon flash tube with solid state circuitry for maximum reliability and efficiency. The full range of new strobes has a rounded dome shape made of clear Lexan®. FIRE letters are visible on the front mounting plate. The overall lens is 2.0 x 2 7/8 with a height of 1 3/8.
