Description
The PAD100-LED uses one (1) SLC loop address w hen used as an addressable indicator. The module mounts on a 4” square or double gang box. The PAD100-LED includes one red LED to indicate the module’s status. In normal conditions, the LED flashes w hen the device i s b eing polled by the control panel. W hen activated, the LED will flash at a fast rate.
Application
The PAD100-LED i s compatible with Potter’s IPA and AFC/ARC series addressable fire alarm control panels. The PAD100-LED i s an addressable LED module used to indicate a variety of system conditions.
Setting the Address
Each addressable SLC device must b e assigned an address. The address i s set using the DIP switch located on the PAD100-LED.
B efore connecting a device to the SLC loop, take the fo llowing precautions. To prevent potential damage to the panel or device:
Power to the device i s removed.
Field wiring i s correctly installed.
Field wiring has no open or short circuits.
