This model features a dual-action pull mechanism, which requires users to lift the cover and pull the handle to activate the alarm. The BG-12LA includes an interface module that allows it to be recognized as an individual addressable device by compatible Fire-Lite FACPs. Consequently, the exact location of the pulled station is reported on the panel display, enabling faster emergency response and improved system diagnostics.
Built from high-quality, die-cast metal with a red finish and white raised-letter fire markings, the BG-12LA is both visually distinct and highly durable. In addition, it includes a key lock mechanism (using the Fire-Lite standard key) to reset the station and deter unauthorized access. This enhances system integrity in public or high-traffic areas.
The BG-12LA mounts easily to standard single-gang electrical boxes, surface backboxes, or semi-flush installations. Furthermore, terminal screws and a user-friendly design simplify wiring, while the hinged cover allows for quick resetting and inspection.
