The Edwards EG1RT-FIRE Strobe Trim Plate (Red) is a wall plate compatible with Genesis EG1 and EG1R series devices. It allows a Genesis device to be mounted in a four-inch, two-gang, four-inch octagonal, or one-gang electrical box. It also is compatible with an assortment of European electrical boxes, including 100 mm square. Also, they are available in white and red, with or without a FIRE label on the trim.

The *EG1T, *EG1RT, *EG1T-FIRE, and *EG1RT-FIRE are compatible with all Genesis EG1 and EG1R series devices.

The Edwards EG1RT-FIRE Strobe Trim Plate (Red) line of chimes and strobes is an audible-visible emergency signaling device. Protruding no more than one inch from the wall, Genesis chimes and chime-strobes feature textured housings in white or red. Genesis strobes are designed to channel and condition light to produce a highly controllable distribution pattern. But chime-strobes feature selectable candela output with a switch located on the bottom of the device. The candela setting is visible even after the device is installed.

The strobes are designed to flash at the same rate (synchronize) when used with a compatible synchronization source, such as the EG1-M and EG1M-RM synchronization module, E-FSC and E-FSA fire panels, and EBPS series booster supplies.
