The WPB/MPB-504 features a 190°F (88°C) fixed-temperature sensor and a durable weatherproof assembly consisting of a cast metal back box, gasketed steel cover plate, and protective wire guard. Four threaded 1/2-inch conduit entrances allow secure installation in demanding environments while helping prevent moisture intrusion.
Designed for property protection applications where smoke detectors may not be practical, the detector provides reliable heat detection in areas with high humidity, dust, vibration, or rapidly changing environmental conditions.
